All of our nannies in sole care of children are fully qualified (NNEB or equivalent), hold
first aid certificates and have undergone CRB checks so rest assured, your children are
in the best of hands. We work on a basic ratio of 1 staff member for every 3 children to
ensure that we maintain high standards of care, although this can change depending
upon the children’s ages.
Crystal Crèche (Courchevel 1850: 6 mths - 4 yrs)
Exclusively for the use of Crystal children, our highly successful crèche in Courchevel 1850 is in the Chalet Hotel St. Louis. Managed by our own English-speaking qualified
nannies, the crèche is open from 08.30am-5.00pm (6 days a week). Morning or afternoon
(or both) creche is available. There are kits including games and toys plus a wealth of
material for creative play, as well as TV and videos for all age groups. The staff organise
a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Our qualified staff will adhere to any specific
feeding habits/sleep routines.
Crystal Club (Courchevel 1850 4* - 8 yrs)
Having the right instructor can make all the difference to whether your children enjoy
their early experiences of skiing. Only instructors who specialise in teaching children will
create the safe-but-fun environment that ensures your child enjoys the slopes while
learning the basics of the skiing. With this in mind, we have teamed up with Magic in
Motion to provide lessons for children in the Ski Club.
We have our own qualified nannies who assist with equipment, lunchtime supervision,
club activities and the daily logistics of collection and drop offs for ski school. The
children's club runs in parallel with the times of the ski lessons. Lunch and snacks will
be provided and they will be looked after until the end of the club at 5pm.
Magic in Motion "Little Ones" ski lessons
For the younger children (4-5 years). These run for 2 hours in the mornings (09.15am-11.15am or 11.15am-1.15pm subject to change) for 6 mornings. The maximum class size is
6 designed for those putting skis on for the first time.
Magic in Motion "Kid's Fun Factory" ski lessons
For children 6+. These run for 4 hours (4 mornings), then 2 full days (with lunch
included). The maximum class size is 8.
* Private lessons can be arranged for younger children, under 4.
One evenings babysitting is included when you book any of our childcare services.
This is offered on your chalet hosts night off.
Private nanny service

The number of children the
nanny can look after is
determined by the children's
age, although each nanny can
look after a maximum of three
children between the ages of

books the whole chalet.
Other crèche facilities
Kitzbühel & St. Anton: If you are staying in one of our hotels or chalets in Kitzbühel or St. Anton there are crèches run by our sister company for children from 6 months to 4 years old. In Kitzbühel the crèche is located in a chalet next to the Hahenkamm Gondola, opposite the Best Western Premier Hotel Kaiserhof. In St. Anton the crèche is located in the resort centre, less than 5 minutes' walk from the main Galzig lift, opposite the Hotel Alte Post.
For both crèches are run by professional, experienced and friendly English speaking staff, who have all undergone CRB checks. Pre-booking is essential. Places are limited in order to adhere to our strict child-nanny ratios.
