The Experience

There are a number of gondolas and chairlifts from different parts of the resort, giving quick and easy access to the skiing. These include Vail Village, Lionshead and Cascade. There is a superb ski school, so beginners are well looked after. There are plenty of long, wide-open, gentle runs right from the top of the mountain. Intermediates will love the miles of prepared pistes and superb groomed runs with the added exhilaration of the famous Back Bowls. Colorado powder snow is so light that intermediates can enjoy most runs. For the more advanced, there are numerous Double Black diamond runs, such as Goshawk and Peregrine.
