The Experience

Both Laax and Flims share a varied and extensive ski area which cater for all abilities. The Foppa and Curnius areas have good easy runs which beginners can soon progress onto. Intermediates are spoilt for choice with long runs and sunny bowls. Be sure to head to "La Siala" bowl or try the Grauberg valley. "Free-ride" routes and the abundant off-piste will satisfy the advanced skiers whilst the impressive terrain park at "Crap Sogn Gion" claims to be Europe's best.

Children are particularly well-catered for with an excellent ski school and three "Kinderland" centres to choose from. The mountain restaurants are a dream ranging from the  the rustic "Tegia Larnags" to the modern "Alpenrose" with its stunning views. Nightlife centres around the wealth of excellent hotels, the "Legna" and the cosy "Segnes" wine bar in Flims Dorf. For live music be sure to head to the "Casa Veglia" in Laax.
