The ExperienceThe large Davos town is split into 2 areas - Davos Dorf and Davos Platz - our hotels are located in both places. The hotels have a long, distinguished tradition for excellence. A German physician founded the resort in 1860, where he recognised the benefits of the dry, healthy climate in treating tuberculosis and many of these "sanatoriums" have been transformed into wonderful hotels. The ski area offers some superb, long cruising runs and excellent off-piste terrain.Beginners will gain confidence on the Bolgen nursery slopes before venturing onto the intermediate runs of the Parsenn bowl. Here you'll find lengthy runs from the Weissfluhjoch to Küblis, Saas and Sernaus. The off-piste terrain is truly impressive and with the help of a guide, the possibilities are endless. The long runs to Klosters from Davos are a must. Be sure to explore Klosters own ski area "Madrisa" and then return to Klosters via the beautiful Schlappin valley. Klosters is just a 20-minute drive/train journey from Davos. Mountain restaurants are a delight here - for a real treat try "Bruhin's" at the top of the Weissfluhgipfel. Off the ski slopes, there are plenty of bars, discos and nightclubs. Davos hosts Europe's largest natural ice-rink, a toboggan run, plenty of shops and some beautiful alpine walks.
