Arosa is a lively town set in a large sunny bowl at the end of the Schanfigger valley. It epitomises the classic image of a traditional swiss ski resort with its stunning setting amidst beautiful mountains and its frozen lake which entices skaters. Skiing and boarding are not the only attractions. Away from the slopes, horse-drawn sleighs glide their way along snowy paths whilst cross-country trails abound.
