The ExperienceThe wonderful skiing in Mayrhofen takes place on two separate sunny plateaux - the Penken and the Ahorn. With a good snow record and the glacier at Hintertux closeby, snow is guaranteed. The 625km of piste in the area will keep all levels of skiers entertained. Snowboarders should head to the Burton fun park with its well known boarder cross and half pipe. Mountain restaurants abound. The Schneekar has lovely wooden beams, an open fire and traditional food. With plenty to do off the slopes and a charming resort centre, it is a fantastic holiday base especially for families. Both the ski school and Kindergarten have an excellent reputation and the Fun pool is a great place for children.
