The ExperienceThere are wide, open nursery slopes at the bottom of the Hahnenkamm run and close to the town centre. Intermediates will revel in the wealth of slopes on the massive ski circus, linked by efficient lifts and a free bus service. Since the opening of the 3S Bahn, Kitzbühel is now linked to the Jochberg/Resterhöhe area which opens up a wealth of runs. Not to be missed are the long cruising runs down to Pass Thurn. For those a little braver, try the Hahnenkamm run - considered to be the most testing of all the international racing pistes. Mountain huts are a delight here and afford stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This prestigious resort also offers excellent restaurants, sophisticated nightlife and its own legendary casino. Non-skiers can peruse the numerous shops and boutiques, enjoy the scenery in a horse drawn sleigh ride or relax in the 25m Aquarena pool with mud baths and sauna.
